Deployment Architecture

KLARA uses a 5-layer deployment model with clear separation of concerns. Each layer communicates through well-defined interfaces, keeping the security core isolated from application-level changes.

• Isolated security core — Threat detection, capability enforcement, and audit trails run in the kernel, separate from user applications
• Pluggable services — Cryptographic and health services communicate via Unix socket IPC with no network exposure
• Hardware-agnostic — A single kernel binary runs on QEMU, bare-metal, or cloud VMs using PVH boot
